Arctura Awarded $1.25M from the National Science Foundation to Develop and Test a New Wind Farm Control Technology.
We’re proud to share that Arctura has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Phase II STTR grant to advance a novel control scheme aimed at increasing wind farm energy production.
This work builds on prior research at the The University of Texas at Dallas and has been part of the collaborative efforts within the WindSTAR Industry/University Cooperative Research Center. We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Mario A. Rotea and UTD, and we’re excited to be working alongside the talented teams at Bachmann electronic GmbH and Leeward Renewable Energy on a field demonstration.
